2. Platform Purpose

Red Flag is a public warning and trust-check platform designed to:

• Allow users to report fraudulent activities and scams
• Enable users to search for information about individuals or entities
• Help increase safety and trust in online and offline transactions
• Build a community-driven database of scam reports

Red Flag is not: A law enforcement agency, a judicial authority, a credit bureau, or a background check service. We do not conduct investigations or verify claims independently beyond user reports and admin review.

3. User Registration and Accounts

To access certain features, you must:

• Create an account with accurate and complete information
• Provide a valid email address and phone number
• Complete email and phone verification processes
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Reporting Guidelines

When submitting scam reports, you must:

• Provide accurate and truthful information to the best of your knowledge
• Include verifiable details whenever possible
• Not submit false, misleading, or defamatory information
• Not submit reports based on personal disputes or grievances
• Not include private information not directly related to the scam

Consequences of Violations: Users who submit false reports may have their accounts suspended and face legal consequences for defamation or other applicable laws.

5. Report Review Process

All submitted reports undergo a review process:

• Reports are initially marked as "Pending Review"
• Admin team reviews reports for accuracy and compliance
• Reports may be Approved, Rejected, or returned for clarification
• Only Approved reports are visible in search results
• Report decisions are final and at the discretion of the admin team

6. Search and Results

Search results display only approved reports:

• Red Flag: One or more approved scam reports found
• Green Flag: No approved scam reports found

Important: A Green Flag does NOT mean the person or entity is trustworthy or legitimate. It only indicates that no negative reports have been submitted and approved on our platform. Always conduct your own due diligence.

7. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading information
• Harass, abuse, or intimidate other users
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation
• Use automated tools to abuse our services
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Red Flag platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by Red Flag and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• Red Flag is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any damages arising from use of our platform
• We are not responsible for the accuracy or completeness of user reports
• We are not liable for decisions made based on platform information
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) for our services

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Red Flag, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the platform
• Your violation of these terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you submit to the platform

11. Termination

We reserve the right to:

• Suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice
• Remove any content that violates these terms
• Discontinue or modify any features or services

Upon termination, your right to use the platform will immediately cease.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of the jurisdiction where Red Flag is headquartered.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the platform.
